Dice calculator: win chance, multiplier and payout
A Dice calculator converts between win chance, multiplier and payout. Under the 99% RTP rule Stake and Shuffle publish, the multiplier is 99 ÷ chance: 49.5% pays 2.0000×, 2% pays 49.50×, and a stake of 10 at 49.5% returns 20.00 on a win. The expected loss is 1% of the stake whatever the chance. Type a chance or a multiplier below; the URL carries your inputs.

questions
- How does a Dice calculator turn a win chance into a multiplier?
- With the published rule multiplier = 99 ÷ chance, which is what a 99% RTP means: at 49.5% the multiplier is 2.0000×, at 2% it is 49.50×. Both return 0.99 per unit staked on average, so both lose 1% of the stake per bet in expectation.
- Is a 49.5% Dice bet really 49.5%?
- Under the Stake scheme there are 10,001 rolls, 0.00 through 100.00. A bet on rolls under 49.50 covers 4,950 of them, 49.4951%; paid at 2.0000× that returns 0.98990 per unit rather than 0.99. Whether an operator quotes the target or the exact share as the chance is in its own rules; the difference is one part in 10,001.
- Does the calculator say what to bet?
- No. It converts between chance, multiplier and payout under a stated rule and shows that the expected loss is 1% of the stake at every setting. Nothing here changes that figure; a losing run at any chance is a property of the odds, which the streak calculator quantifies.
