Verify a Rollbit bet
Is Rollbit provably fair? VerifyRoll cannot recompute Rollbit bets yet, so this page does not answer that question either way. Rollbit uses a scheme that is not yet documented here; until it is documented and reproduced against known results, nothing here can turn its seeds into a result. What you can still do by hand is check the commitment: hash the revealed server seed with SHA-256 and compare it with the hash shown before play. The checker below does that in your browser. As a reference, SHA-256 of the example seed 2b4d2f1a… is f31e87e7ad47f2d3….
Disclosure: VerifyRoll is sponsored by Craze, a competitor of Rollbit. Figures here are computed or taken from what operators publish, dated; nothing is estimated.
What supporting Rollbit would need
Three things, all from the operator: the published formula that turns its random bytes into each game's result (the equivalent of floor(float × 10001) / 100 for Dice under the Stake scheme), the exact way it builds those bytes from the seeds (hash function, message layout, cursor rule), and real bets with revealed seeds to test against. The verifier ships an operator only after all three line up; a verifier that produces the wrong number with confidence would be worse than none.
What you can still check by hand
If Rollbit shows SHA-256 of its server seed before you bet and reveals the seed after you rotate, the commitment can be checked with any SHA-256 implementation. This one runs on your browser's WebCrypto.
What this checks
Only the commitment: that the server seed revealed after rotation is the same seed whose SHA-256 was shown before you bet. It does not recompute the bet, because this operator's result formula is not documented here. It works for any operator that publishes SHA-256 of the seed string; if the operator uses a different construction it will not match, which is a limit of this checker, not evidence against the operator.
Published RTP
No RTP figure for Rollbit is recorded in the house-edge table. That is a statement about this database, not about the operator: a figure is recorded only after reading it on the operator's own game page and dating the check.
Questions
- Is Rollbit provably fair?
- VerifyRoll cannot say. Supporting an operator means documenting its construction and reproducing it against known results in the fairness package; that has not been done for Rollbit, so this site neither confirms nor disputes its fairness claims. "Not supported" is a statement about this site's coverage.
- What can I check about a Rollbit bet today?
- The commitment. If Rollbit shows SHA-256 of its server seed before play and reveals the seed after rotation, the checker on this page hashes the revealed seed and compares. A match shows the seed was not swapped; it does not recompute the result. For that, use Rollbit's own verifier.
- When will VerifyRoll support Rollbit?
- When its scheme is documented and reproduced against real results, which requires the published formula for each game and a way to test it. Additions are recorded in the changelog with the date. No date is promised; a wrong implementation would be worse than none.
