Stake Roulette verifier
This Stake Roulette verifier recomputes a spin from the revealed server seed, your client seed and the bet's nonce, in your browser, using the construction Stake publishes: HMAC-SHA256(server seed, "clientSeed:nonce:cursor") read as floats, one float for Roulette. Stake publishes 97.3% RTP for Roulette (checked 2026-09-23). With the example inputs below the spin comes out as pocket 18; press “Load example values” and Verify to reproduce it.
Disclosure: VerifyRoll is sponsored by Craze, a competitor of Stake. Figures here are computed or taken from what operators publish, dated; nothing is estimated.

How a Stake Roulette spin is derived
How a Stake-scheme European Roulette spin picks a pocket from one float, and why the house edge is fixed by the wheel at 1/37 rather than by a formula.
- Take the first float from HMAC-SHA256(server seed, "clientSeed:nonce:0").
- Multiply by 37 and drop the fraction: a pocket from 0 to 36, each with probability exactly 1/37.
pocket = floor(float × 37)

Stake's published RTP for Roulette
97.3%, a house edge of 2.7%, as published by Stake and checked 2026-09-23. Fixed by the wheel: 1/37 = 2.70% on every standard bet. No formula factor is involved, so the published RTP is 97.3% rather than 99%. The verifier proves the spin; it cannot see the RTP. Read the figure in the game's own info panel and compare it with this one.
Worked example
Computed on the server by the same function the verifier runs. The seed pair is the site's example, at nonce 7 on this page; it is not from a real Stake round.

Questions
- What do I paste to verify a Stake Roulette spin?
- The revealed server seed, your client seed and the bet's nonce, plus the server seed hash that was shown before play if you want the commitment checked. Roulette consumes one float from the HMAC output.
- What RTP does Stake publish for Roulette?
- 97.3%, a house edge of 2.7%, as published by Stake and checked 2026-09-23. Fixed by the wheel: 1/37 = 2.70% on every standard bet. No formula factor is involved, so the published RTP is 97.3% rather than 99%.
- Is red/black a 50% bet?
- No. 18 of 37 pockets are red, so the chance is 48.65%. The streak calculator has a preset for it.
- Why is the RTP lower than the other Originals?
- Because the payouts are the traditional ones and the wheel has a zero. Operators could pay more than 35 to 1 to reach 99%, but they publish the classic table.
