questions
- Does the order I pick tiles in matter?
- No. The mines are fixed by the seeds before your first click and every unrevealed tile is equally likely to hold one, so each pick is a draw from what is left. Corner, centre or pattern makes no difference.
- Why is the paid multiplier 0.99 times the fair one?
- Because the published RTP for Mines is 99% at the operators in the house-edge table. With 3 mines the first pick is safe 88.00% of the time, a fair 1.1364×; the paid figure is 1.1250× before the operator's rounding.
- How hard is it to clear a whole board?
- With one mine, revealing all 24 safe tiles has probability 4.00%, exactly 1 in 25.0: the mine must be the last tile standing. More mines make it astronomically rarer; the table shows every case.
